History of the University Training Consortium

The University Training Consortium (UTC), now in its 29th Year of operation, was developed by Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) in partnership with the Department for Community Based Services. The Partnership began in 1983 as a small contract with the Cabinet to improve Social Service Training delivery. It was expanded to include 3 universities in 1989 and now includes all 8 state universities.
