Alexis Miller, Associate Professor of Criminal Justice and Jeff Zimmerman, Assistant Professor of Organizational Leadership, present their experience teaching online along with current best practices. This presentation reviews the general differences in preparing face-to-face and online courses, the process of moving and condensing face-to-face courses to an online classroom, and the best practices for developing and teaching online.
Preparing to teach an AP course online? Not sure what Quality Matters is or what a QM review involves? This presentation explains more about Quality Matters and the review process from Dr. Tamara O’Callaghan (English), a certified QM Reviewer. In addition, hear from your colleague, Dr. Michelle Teschendorf (Nursing), about the experience of undergoing a QM review with an AP course and successfully meeting the expectations to “pass” the review.
