Bank of Montreal Visiting Scholar in Women's Studies

The sponsor provides support for a visiting scholar in women's studies. The duration of the Visiting Scholar's stay should be from three to six months and within the university's academic year, which runs from September to April. The purpose of this fund is to attract highly qualified researchers working on women's issues. The Visiting Scholar will present her ongoing research project in conferences and seminars and interact with the community of students and colleagues as requested.  Application deadline is December 31, 2007.

Research Associateships at Five College Women's Studies Research Center

The Research Associates program provides non-stipendiary visiting residencies of either a semester or an academic year. Associates are provided with offices in our spacious facility, library privileges, and the collegiality of a diverse community of feminists. Research Associates are expected to be in residence in the Five College area, working full-time at the Center on the project outlined in their application, during the period of appointment. Each Research Associate is expected to give a public presentation on her work and to participate actively in the daily life of the Center.  Application deadline is February 11, 2008.
