Cross-Listing a Course
Guidelines
A section of a course that is cross-listed with a WGS section must be approved by the WGS Curriculum Advisory Committee for cross-listing.
In order to be cross-listed, the course must serve to advance one or more of the stated objectives for the Women's & Gender Studies minor.
Requesting Cross-Listing
Please provide:
- Your curriculum vitae (for SACS faculty roster purposes).
- A digital copy of the course syllabus.
- Indication of which of the objectives for the WGS minor will be achieved through the course.
- A brief (1-2 sentence) statement of your qualifications for teaching this particular course for Women's & Gender Studies (this is a requirement for SACS).
- The course specifics for scheduling -- days and times it will be offered and the call number.
