Interested in joining the Walters Research Group? Typically, you should have completed Organic Chemistry I lecture and lab (CHE 310/310L) in order to do research, but exceptional students that have only completed General Chemistry II lecture and lab (CHE 121/121L) will also be considered. In order to receive credit for chemistry research (CHE 492), you need to be able to devote 8 hours per week during the academic year per enrolled credit hour to research. If you are interested in joining us, read more about our work on the research page, read more about what's involved in research (.pdf file), view my latest presentation about our research opportunities online, and email Dr. Walters to schedule an appointment to talk about research opportunities. |
