		The primary mission of the Budget Office is to prepare, communicate and execute the University's annual budget as well as the Commonwealth of Kentucky's biennial budget. The office serves as a leading supplier of accurate, timely and meaningful budget and financial information to the management of the University in order to support optimal decision-making. The office provides thorough expertise in fiscal policy and practice and in management and analytical tools and methods in order to provide the highest quality of fiscal counsel to the campus. The Budget Office is committed to administering the campus' annual budgetary process effectively and cooperatively with a goal of minimizing the level of budgetary processing burden on campus departments. The office stands committed to be responsive to meeting the continuously changing needs of a dynamic university environment and to external agencies.
