Northern Kentucky University Department of Nursing and Health Professions offers baccalaureate and masters degrees in nursing in addition to associate degrees in radiologic technology, and respiratory care. Primary clinical experience sites include hospitals located throughout the Greater Cincinnati area. Multiple additional experiences include area nursing homes, rehabilitation facilities, and primary health care settings. The Department offers four nursing programs to prepare you for professional nursing practice: the Bachelor of Science (BSN) in Nursing, the RN to BSN completion program for those who already hold an RN license, the Accelerated BSN program for people who already hold a bachelor's degree in another field, and the Master of Science (MSN) in Nursing. The MSN program offers a track in nursing administration and a track in primary care offering foci in adult, pediatric, family, and geriatric practice. A post-master's certificate is also offered for nurses who already have earned a masters degree in nursing in another area.
