The B.F.A. in stage management combines classes from across the theatre curriculum with select classes from related disciplines to prepare students to work professionally in this vital position. Successful candidates gain practical experience by serving as assistant stage manager and then stage manager on several mainstage productions, providing a wide cross-section of experiences with different directors, designers, and production team members as well as with distinctly different performance facilities and styles.
