The Department of Theatre and Dance has selected new plays to premiere in its 14th biennial year-end-series (Y.E.S.) festival of new plays April 16 - 26th.  The plays will run in repertory for 10 days.  Tickets can be obtained at the NKU Box Office in the Corbett Lobby or by calling x5464.

Shock and Awe: Soldiers' Voices from Iraq

Opening Thursday, April 16th, directed by Mike King -- Corbett Theatre

Members of the U.S. Army share personal experiences while they're abroad fighting the War in Iraq.  All stories are based upon actual interviews with U.S. Veterans.  Above all, this play points out that the true casualties from this war are largely hidden to the naked eye.

A young couples emotional and moral struggle as they attempt to find the best educational setting for their autistic child.  They will go to any lengths necessary.

A loose band of college seniors dedicated to "change" are detained
by the FBI.  A drama that explores environmental activism, The Patriot Act, modes of interrogation, and the terrible risks of loyalty, NIGHTJARS is a play of where we are now, and where we might soon be going.
