Welcome From The Chair
Welcome to Northern Kentucky University and the Department of Theatre and Dance. The 2008-2009 academic year is already promising to be one of new discoveries, exciting changes, and artistic challenges. With over 250 Theatre majors, we understand the importance of giving the theatre student opportunities to work on stage and backstage, and that’s why this year's offerings will include 7 main season shows, TGIT's and student productions, multicultural shows, a freshman First-Year production, a dance concert and two professional summer dinner theatre shows as well as the Comedy Improvisation Tour Troupe, Musical Theatre Tour Troupe, Broadway Chorus Freshman Troupe, Dance for Fitness, and the Dance Tour Troupe.
The Department of Theatre and Dance is very proud that our doors are always open and that all faculty and staff are ready and willing to help. This will not change, and it is my hope that you will take advantage of all that we have to offer. Have a great year and break a leg!
