The Taming of the Shrew BY William Shakespeare Shakespeare’s hilarious comedy of love and marriage brings the battle of the sexes to stage.  Young Bianca has several suitors for her hand, but her wealthy father refuses to let her marry until her defiant, sharp-tongued elder sister Kate is wed.  The fortune-hunting Petruchio agrees to marry Kate, but will he actually be able to break her of her unruly ways?  Meanwhile, Bianca’s men have disguised themselves in order to woo her and win her father’s approval.  Will anyone live happily ever after?
