Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performance with Dance Emphasis.

The Dance Program at NKU provides students with numerous opportunities to choreograph, perform & improve their technical skills as a performer.  Our mission is to prepare individual students for a professional career in dance, to think independently yet intelligently, and to value original thought and diversity.    There is a full sequence of courses offered in Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Tap, Choreography, Dance Physiology, Dance History, & Musical Theatre Dance.  Dance opportunities during an academic year include a Dance Concert, Choreographic Workshops, two Musicals, a touring Dance Company and hosting Master Classes conducted by local and international guest artists.   Many NKU Theatre and Dance graduates are finding viable careers on the professional stage, pursuing Master degrees,  & are engaged in positive artistic changes in their community.
