Distance Learning
Northern Kentucky University's Office of Testing and Disability Services is an approved testing site for many Distance Learning colleges and universities. Testing Services offers a Test Proctoring Center with individual (private) testing rooms to accommodate students who may need a secure place to take a Distance Learning Examination.Examinees who are interested in scheduling a test with NKU Testing Services should first contact their college or university to make sure that NKU is an approved testing site for that institution. If not, Testing Services will follow procedure to become one.
Test Registration:
To register to take a Distance Learning examination at NKU, please click on the link below. Examinees are required to pay the registration fee at the time of registration to secure the date and time.
A minimum of $53.00 is required to register, which will cover the first 2 testing hours. An additional $25.00 will be added for each hour thereafter. If you exceed the allotted 2 hours, your additional fee will be collected at the Testing Center in order for you to continue testing. If you wish to reschedule, you may do so without a charge 7 days prior to your scheduled test date. If you reschedule after the 7 day grace period, you must register and pay the fee again.
