Distance Learning Examinations
Northern Kentucky University's Office of Testing and Disability Services is an approved testing site for many Distance Learning colleges and universities. We offer a Test Proctoring Center where we have individual testing rooms to accommodate students who may need a secure place to take a Distance Learning Examination.
Students who are interested in using our services should first contact their college or university to make sure that NKU is an approved testing site for that institution. If not, we would follow procedure to become one.
Test Registration:
To register to take a Distance Learning examination at NKU, you must call our office at (859) 572-6373. Students are required to pay the registration fee at the time of registration to secure the date and time. Payment can be made with a credit card over the phone or can be made in our office, University Center 320, with cash, check, credit card, or money order.
A minimum of $40.00 is required to register, which will cover the first 2 testing hours. An additional $20.00 will be added for each hour thereafter.
The fee schedule is as follows:
Test Time Fee
0-2 hours $40.00
2 hrs, 1 min - 3 hrs. $60.00
3 hrs, 1 min - 4 hrs. $80.00
4 hrs, 1 min - 5 hrs. $100.00
