Joyce M. Couch, M.B.A.
Joyce has worked in Student Support Services since February 1997 when she joined the SSS team to serve as Academic Coordinator. Since that time she has held positions such as Support Specialist and Information Specialist. Joyce has also been active within the NKU community. She has taught Developmental Algebra since Fall 1998, worked as a supervisor for Supplemental Instruction and Structured Learning Assistance, and has served on the advisory boards for the NKUROCKS and Supplemental Instruction programs. Joyce graduated from Haverford College with a degree in Biology and later from the University of Michigan with an M.B.A. Before coming to Northern Kentucky University, Joyce worked in various fields such as biological research and industrial engineering.
Joyce is a member of the Kentucky Association of Developmental Education (KADE), and the Kentucky Association of Educational Opportunity and Program Personnel (KAEOPP).
