"ZOOLOGY FOR TEACHERS"
IN-CLASS PRESENTATIONS
(10 points)

Each student will present four in-class presentations during the semester.  These five-minute presentations will be evaluated on both the pedagogical aspects of the presentation and the biological content.

While the focus on the evaluation may change as the semester goes on, the grading for these presentations will be the following:

Pedagogy (5 pts)
    1.  Use of Bloom's Taxonomy / S.A.G.A.

    2.  Inquiring teaching
        a. Socratic teaching        b. Hands-on instruction

    3.  "Real World" examples
 
 

Content (5pts)
    1. Include at least 2 of the following
        a. Taxonomy / Evolution
        b. Anatomy / Physiology
        c. Behavior
        d. Ecology

    2. Identify or describe adaptations associated with content items above.
