Welcome to the Northern Kentucky University Faculty Senate Home Page. The Faculty Senate is part of the collegial system of university governance, based on a concept of authority and responsibility shared among colleagues, some who have primary duties as faculty and some who have primary duties as administrators. A collegial system has, as its fundamental principle, the concept of good faith consultation among these colleagues prior to decision making.

Faculty Senate Meeting  August 25, 2008 at 3:00 in UC Ballroom*** Guidelines for Applications for Summer Fellowships, Project Grants and Sabbatical Leaves Dr. KC Russell, chair of the faculty benefits committee, will review guidelines, due dates and evaluation criteria for applications for summer fellowships, project grants and sabbatical leaves. All eligible tenured and tenure-track faculty who plan to submit a proposal to one or more of the programs are encouraged to attend. The workshop will be conducted in Steely Library 240 on September 2 from 2-2:50 p.m., and will be repeated September 3 from 1-1:50 p.m. Faculty who are unable to attend either workshop should consult the Faculty Handbook (Section XII, pp. 73-82) for application details.*****Meetings
