Training
SBS has several training opportunities available.
Some are geared toward start-up businesses or people with not much more
then idea. These trainings sessions are free to the public as they
are most often sponsored by local organizations. Others focus on
existing businesses that are looking to grow or seeking new markets or
strategies. A third set of training programs extend their reach
into larger organization looking for employee development opportunities
and oftentimes can discuss topics of interest to a start-ups or existing
business.
Sessions can be built to suite most schedules with
morning, daytime (lunch-n-learn), or evening schedules. In an
effort to collaborate and share resources, trainings scheduled to suite
a particular organization's needs may be offered to other organizations
throughout the region. The benefits are cost savings on fee-based
training sessions and provide smaller organizations with opportunities
not available otherwise. Training session costs are negotiable
based on the size of your organization and level of customization
required.
Training sessions are instructed by SBS/Innovation
Center staff. Where necessary, university professors and staff
will present and /or consult with us on the development and delivery of
the training.
