Consulting Starting a business takes more than
idea. It also takes a variety of steps and knowledge in a variety
of areas. Small business owners need to understand the market they
serve, if the product can make money, how to reach the market segment
that can produce a profit, and many other aspects of business.
Most entrepreneurs are not skilled in all the areas of business and need
some help.
We can take you through a process we refer to as the
ABCs of Starting a Business. Each step in this process links
you to the knowledge, resources, and professionals you will need to
complete each step of the start-up process. An illustration of
this process in provided below.

Each step takes you through a number of activities that help assess
potential of your idea, plan the launch of the company, and find the
money you need to start smart. From brainstorming to business planning
to visioning and goals development to idea
commercialization, strategic planning, and more; SBS is there as
part of the process increasing your chances of success.
Some fees may apply and can be negotiated based on many factors
including the relevance of your idea to the local economy, the ability
of your company to create new jobs, as well as a variety of other
factors. All rates are negotiable as our our goal is your success,
however we do need a plan to sustain this program into the future.
Options may include per hour fees, agreement for future donations,
equity share in the business, trade our services for your
products/services to SBS or other SBS clients, or simply no a no strings
attached approach.
