Internal NKU Research Foundation Funding Opportunities
The NKU Research Foundation (NKURF) has established two internal funding opportunities for faculty:

Seed Grant Program:
The Seed Grant Program supports and strengthens faculty research by providing funding for initiating research that will lead to developing externally funded grant proposals. It offers a maximum of $3,000 for a period of one year or less.
Faculty Research & Development Grant:
The Faculty Research & Development Grant supports and strengthens faculty research by providing funding for basic and applied research. A high priority will be given to proposals that have a potential for commercialization of a technology, product, or process. It offers a maximum of $15,000 with a negotiable time period; a typical award will not exceed 24 months.

Center for Integrative Natural Science and Mathematics (CINSAM)
The Center for Integrative Natural Science and Mathematics (CINSAM) offers internal grant programs for NKU faculty members. These awards are administered through CINSAM, please visit their website for details.
University-Community Partnership Grants
The University offers the University-Community Partnership grant program to NKU faculty members in order to work with community agencies. These awards are administered through the Office of the Associate Provost for Regional Stewardship, please refer to their website for details and RFP information.
