NKU is committed to strengthening its capacity to serve our region through Outreach and Public Engagement.

The mission of NKU’s outreach and public engagement is to extend the University’s teaching, learning, scholarship, creative expression, and professional expertise to contribute to the vitality and quality of life of the region and Commonwealth.

The work of outreach and public engagement is guided by one of the University’s eight core values: public engagement. This core value commits the University to treat the metropolitan region and the Commonwealth as extensions of the campus, to build partnerships throughout that serve the learning needs of the public, and to enhance the learning opportunities available to faculty, staff and students.
