Beliefs Shape Our Lives
The study of philosophy helps students deepen their understanding of themselves and society as well as widen their perspective on the beliefs and values of others.
Our undergraduate programs offer a philosophy major along with minors in philosophy, applied philosophy and religious studies.
Philosophy is considered a good major for students interested in graduate studies in law or theology because our courses promote the ability to:
