Philosophers have access to a wide variety of resources on the World Wide Web. If you find a helpful resource you can email Bob Kenney about it. Here are a few that faculty have found:

Philosopher's Index   (Use your NKU Username and Password to get onto First Search:Specialized, then select the Index for articles and reviews from almost all of the major Philosophy Journals)

After finding the journal articles that you want to check go to Ebsco Host (linked on the same database page that First Search is on) or JSTOR to find full text versions of many of the articles and reviews.

The NKU library has paper copies of around 100 journals in philosophy and another 200 journals in religious studies. Many of these also have online access. See list of Journals

Episteme 19,000 Philosophy Links categorized and mostly kept up to date

Gilbert H. Harman's Home Page

Routledge encyclopedia of philosophy / general editor, Edward Craig. Excellent encyclopedia. On Reserves in Library not online.

The last several sites do not have working links. They were part of the Internet links in an earlier version of this page. If they look interesting to you, you might do a search for their updated versions. I use Copernic that uses several major search engines at once.

Sean's Philosophy Resources Page A good index of just about everything in philosophy that is available on the 'net.

The Peachnet Philosophy Gopher, containing a large number of philosophical texts in electronic form, and connections to other computer mediated philosophy resources.
