Compensation
While you may not be able to contribute (significantly) to your retirement plan, you will receive financial compensation. 2011 Orientation Leaders received a $1600 stipend plus $200 on their NKU AllCard to cover the cost of meals outside of the actual orientation programs.All OL's receive two dry-fit NKU polos to wear during the orientation programs, and a jersey/t-shirt to wear during the evening of the 1st day of each orientation program. You'll have lots of stuff to carry with you, but you can do that with your personalized OL BACKPACK!
The OL staff will receive an on-campus housing assignment (May- early August) and we'll participate in a pre-orientation retreat and end-of-the-year celebration following our final program.
Perhaps the most important form of compensation is the joy and satisfaction you'll get from networking with your fellow OL's, supervisors, new students, parents, guests, faculty, staff and administrators.
