The School of Nursing and Health Professions supports the mission, vision and values of NKU. Graduates of our programs are prepared to think and practice as competent leaders in nursing, healthcare and educational settings. They are given opportunities to learn in and out of the classroom through online learning and clinical experiences. The Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky region provides a wide array of clinical practice sites where our students are able to get hands-on experience. The learning experiences of our students have led them to be critical thinking and compassionate clinicians that are in high demand in the workforce. The School of Nursing and Health Professions also provides opportunities for students and faculty to network in the community through research and service. The Rho Theta Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International was recently awarded the International Research Advancement Award for establishing the Northern Kentucky Nursing Research Collaborative. This collaborative was designed to advance nursing research by linking hospitals and medical practices with local universities and schools. The School of Nursing and Health Professions is also a partner in the Nurse Advocacy Center for the Underserved, which is working to improve the health of the underserved in the Northern Kentucky region by reducing health disparities. | GRADUATE & POST-GRADUATE PROGRAMS OFFERED ON-CAMPUS AND ONLINE BACHELOR DEGREES
