Welcome to Articulating Algebra for All

         An Improving Educator Quality grant from the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education designed to strengthen the teaching and learning of algebra from middle school through the postsecondary level. 

Our Goals Include: 

·         Algebra Curriculum and Assessment Alignment

1.       Align the algebra curriculum and assessment from grade six through postsecondary education and careers.

·         Strengthening of Middle and High School Students’ Algebraic Reasoning and Learning

2.       Improve students’ knowledge of algebraic concepts from middle grades through postsecondary education and careers

3.       Reduce the numbers of students enrolled in remedial mathematics courses at the postsecondary level

·         Enhancement of Middle and High School Teachers’ Algebraic Understanding and Pedagogy

4.       Increase middle grades and high school teachers’ knowledge of algebraic content, pedagogy, and assessment

5.       Create communities of learners among middle and high school mathematics teachers

·         Augmentation of Support from Middle and High School Principals and Administrators

Enhance the support of mathematics programs from middle and high school principals, curriculum coordinators and other administrators.
