Greaves Undergraduate Scholarship

Eligibility: Freshmen must rank in the top 25% of their high school class and have an ACT composite score of 25 or higher; continuing students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher in his/her major.
Amount: Varies
Duration: One academic year; renewable for 2—3 years, excluding summer sessions

Dean’s Scholarship

Eligibility: Must have completed 60 hours, of which 30 hours must be from NKU,  with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 with a declared major in Arts & Sciences.
Amount: In-state tuition

Eligibility: Continuing students with a minimum cumulative and major GPA of 3.0 or 1st time freshman with ACT score of 25+ or SAT score of 1130+;  Must be a math or science major

Eligibility: Must be first-time freshman. Must be a resident of Campbell County, Kentucky. Preference will be given to students majoring in mathematics and/or music.

Burkardt Brother’s Scholarship


Eligibility: Must be a junior or senior majoring in mathematics and/or statistics. Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and a GPA of 3.0 or higher in the major. Must have completed 24 credit hours in the previous academic year. Must be enrolled in a least one course applicable toward the major in each semester for which the scholarship will be awarded. Must be a working student.

Duration: One academic year, excluding summer; awardees may reapply for a second year

NKU Soar Scholarship

Eligibility: Mathematics ACT score 23+ or SAT score 540+. A letter of recommendation from a teacher in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) related discipline. Must be a Kentucky resident and US citizen or permanent resident.
Amount:Varies  (Need based award so a FAFSA financial aid application is required.)

NOYCE Scholarship
Eligibility: Junior or Senior with a declared major in mathematics interested in teaching secondary mathematics in "high-need" school districts. Must also be admitted to the College of Education. US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.

Sehnert - Pugh Scholarship

Eligibility:  Undergraduates (including entering freshmen) must be a declared Mathematics and /or Statistics major and be enrolled for at least 12 credit hours.  Entering freshmen must have a high school GPA of 3.0 and be ranked in the upper 20% of their graduating class.  Continuing students must have a GPA of at least 3.0 with a GPA of 3.0 within their major courses, and have made demonstrable progerss through the major over the previous semesters.

Duration:  1 - 2 semesters, but may be renewed
