CURRENT RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES:

Summer 2010

Mathematical Cryptology

  • Six talented undergraduate students will be chosen to engage in the Study of Mathematical Cryptology.  Participants will be mentored by Dr. Chris Christensen from Northern Kentucky University, Dr. Jintai Ding from the University of Cincinnati, and two graduate students from the University of Cincinnati.  Participants will be involved in attacking unsolved problems in mathematical cryptology.

  • Participants will be provided housing and meals near the campus of Northern Kentucky University, which is located in Greater Cincinnati.  The program will provide a stipend for each participant, travel support to and from the NKU campus and travel support to attend and participate in one professional conference during the academic year following their involvement in the program.
