Professional Interest:
Jackie is originally from Nebraska. She received her Ph.D. in statistics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in December of 2007. Her dissertation work focused on interval estimation techniques and their applications, including both bootstrap and Bayesian intervals. At UNL, Jackie taught both lower and upper level undergraduate statistics courses which has led to her interest in statistical education. Thus, Jackie is excited about pursuing her dream of teaching and learning here at NKU. In her spare time, Jackie enjoys spending time with her husband and two year old son as well as playing poker.
