Sehnert-Pugh Scholarships

There are a number of Scholarships available for all NKU students. The Office of Financial Aid has a full list of scholarships. The Greaves, Dean’s and CINSAM Scholarships are available to Mathematics majors who qualify.

The Department of Mathematics makes available several Sehnert-Pugh scholarships for both entering and continuing students. These scholarships are typically for book allowances ($150 - $300). However, tuition awards ($400 - $1600) may be granted under special circumstances.

The Sehnert-Pugh scholarships are available only to declared majors in Mathematics. Students will be evaluated on their scholastic record, and awards will be given based on the studentÌs potential for success in the major, evidence of excellence in mathematics and/or computer science, and special needs (if applicable).

Application deadlines:

• February 1 for Fall and Summer semester scholarships. Apply through the Office of Financial Aid.
• October 15 for Spring semester Sehnert-Pugh scholarships. Apply through the Department of Mathematics.
