Core Courses
- MAT 120 Calculus I (or MAT 121 and MAT 122)
- MAT 220 Calculus II (or MAT 221 and MAT 222)
- MAT 225 Linear Algebra
- STA 250 Probability and Statistics I
- CSC 260, 260L Computer Programming I and Lab
- MAT 302 Introduction to Higher Mathematics
- MAT 320 Multivariable Calculus
Electives: One of the following sets of courses
- STA 314 and 315
- MAT/STA 340 and STA 341
- MAT 310 and 410
- MAT 325 and 330
- Two 400-level courses
Additional Courses
- Six additional credit hours in mathematics, statistics, or computer science (at most 3 credit hours) courses numbered above 225. Students in secondary education must take: MAT 345; MAT/STA 340 or STA 341; MAT 310 or MAT 410.
A grade of C or better is required in each course applied to the major. At least 9 semester hours towards the major must be taken at NKU.
