 -General Solutions-

The following solutions are general purpose and are not guaranteed to work. However, if you have a problem that you can’t find any other solution for, and you would not like to wait for a response from someone in terms of support, trying one of these things may help. They are listed in order of the amount of trouble each is to execute.  These steps are all designed to work under the Windows operating system.

  1. If you have another browser installed on your system, try to run the software in that browser. If you have it available, try to run the software under Internet Explorer version 4.0 or later.
  2. Try clearing your internet cache and history. This does not often solve a problem, so if you have any reservations skip this step.
  3. Download and install the Java Runtime Environment. This can be directly downloaded from Sun, and there is a link in the downloads page to the appropriate site.
  4. Try running the offline version of LinMath. Because you already downloaded and installed the Java Runtime Environment in step 3, all you need to do is download the offline program and run it. Click Here for our downloads section.
