Who stars? Kate Walsh, Judging Amy, the brother from Wings/the cop from The Nine, Taye "show killer" Diggs, the annoying co-conspirator from Prison Break, Francie (UPDATE! A rumor is suggesting she might have been axed in favor of Gabrielle Union!), and Piz (and some chick who plays an elevator lady)
Why should you care? Addison! We all love Addison, right?
Why should you worry? Did you see that craptastic back door pilot episode of Grey's? (Back door... how wonderfully apt, since it was a steaming pile of...) Addison wasn't Addison on that show. She was... Annoyingson!
Bottom line? This show should easily be #1 on the list. After all, it is a spin-off from the hottest scripted show on television, it features a ton of likeable television vets, and Addison is the right character for a spin-off (the Rhoda or Frasier, if you will, as opposed to the Joey or Chaci). Yet the only hot thing it has going for it after the awful pilot is that Grey's fans will likely give it at least a few episodes -- and that earns it a place on the countdown. ABC wisely used the pilot, too, putting it in a place where it could bring people to the far superior Pushing Daisies and Dirty Sexy Money. We also let it creep above some of the other pilots in our rankings because we know ABC has already given a talkin' to to the powers that be. Supposedly, Private Practice is already on the way up and Addison will be the woman we've come to love in future episodes. And, hey... the chemistry between the characters was pretty decent. Plus, with the exception of Chris Lowell's nipples, they looked good (especially given that their average age skews older than most ABC shows these days).
