Proper Fixed Solar Panel Placement on a flat roof

Steps for better placement:
  1. Input data (the initial data is for Ivy Solomon's house, CFI campus, Ranquitte, Haiti):
    Latitude of Site:
    Roof Pitch Angle:
    Roof Ridge Angle:

That is, the angle along which the ridge runs, from east: so
    ridge-angle roof faces:
    0 east
    90 north
    -90 south
    -135 south-west
    -180 west

  2. Run on your data

In this sample case the building is located in Haiti at 19.4 degrees of latitude, the Roof Ridge angle is -45 (since it's 22.5 degrees towards the east), and where the roof pitch angle is 20 degrees. The results of running solarweb in this case are

angle with roof ridge : 66.0410
angle between planes : 14.7898
This tells me that I should draw a line on the roof at 66.0410 degrees from the ridge line, along the roof, and secure one edge of my panel to that line. Then I should raise the panel at an angle of 14.7833 degrees from the plane of the roof.
