Image Splicing Example

Hey Don and Katie,

Just wanted to show you that this method does work -- it's kind of slow. I'm working on speeding it up. The target parameters are:

 xshift .61
 yshift .32
 angletwist pi/3

So you can see that I get pretty close:

(about 30 seconds)
(as in the case of the rigor mortis example) and derivative information (which we get by "skinning" the matrix). (about 10 seconds)
