Mom's Applesauce

You'll need:
  1. Peel and core the apples until the 2 qt pan is full.
  2. Add about an inch of water to the bottom of the pan.
  3. Heat the mix on high until the apples foam up - don't let them run over, or you'll have a huge mess on your hands (Dad's 2 cents worth there).
  4. Once they're boiling, turn down to medium.
  5. Stir frequently until the apples are just about mush, then turn off the heat.
  6. Let the sauce sit covered, stirring occasionally until it IS mush.
  7. Add the sugar (more or less to taste), sprinkle in some cinnamon, and refridgerate.
  8. Once it's cool, eat it silly!
