• The "detrended" kriged surface is very conservative: it looks essentially like the trend surface, with only modest changes. I hope to have another look at the variogram modeling for that case.

• The river shifted speed drop is for the "thoughtless kriging" case, which has a mean speed of 44.249861969921966 km/year at the data location.
