Directions:
  1. Start with the bulgar. Cook it (by simply adding hot water, and letting it sit for 10 minutes).
  2. Add 1/2 cup hot water to 1/2 cup room temperature water in a small bowl. Add the yeast, and let stand for 5 minutes.
  3. Add 2 and 1/2 cup hot water to 2 and 1/2 cup room temperature water in a large bowl. Add the sugar and powdered milk, and then the yeast mixture from step 2. Mix together.
  4. Add the oil to the mixture, as well as the bulgar, salt, raisins, and 1 cup of the flour. Mix together, and let this stand for 20 minutes.
  5. Add the remainder of the flour, kneading the mixture until you have a consistent texture.
  6. Cover with the bowl, and let stand for 30 minutes while it rises.
  7. Grease your bread pans.
  8. Cut and shape the dough into 4 or 5 loaves, then pop the dough into the greased pans.
  9. Let the loaves rise for another 25 minutes.
  10. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes at 250 degrees F.
