Using Windows Movie Maker

Using Windows Movie Maker

See these instructions for using Windows Movie Maker to import, edit and combine .avi or .mpeg video clips or photos: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/moviemaker/create/1stmovie.mspx

After opening the program you simply import (make sure your video is an .avi or .mpeg file), then use the window on the right to clip and drag your footage into the movie strip at the bottom. You can easily add titles and then save your movie.

I recently led a Windows Movie Maker tuturial on Centra with come coaches. Attached is the handout I gave for the meeting with information on using the program. Feel free to contact me if you have questions. The Centra meeting is available in Public Recordings if you'd like to watch it. It was recorded on April 7, 2008 and the title is "Windows Movie Maker".
