Backlash of personal problems hurting organizations
Individuals who bring their personal
problems into the workplace can often affect an organization. It
could be a situation where the individual can be helped or the individual
needs to be terminated. Gambling can cause emotional problems that
the employee can not control. He/she may not be able to meet deadlines.
They could be late to work or not even come to work at all. Higher
positioned employees might have to be decisive on important issues, but
cannot because of their on-going gambling problems. In any case people
should be aware of what can happen to them, because of the problems in
gambling.
