CYBERSTALKING    

    What is cyberstalking? Cyberstalking is repetitive unwanted advances, harassment, and threats using the Internet or other online services.  There are two different types of cyberstalking.  One is Online cyberstalking and harassment that stays online.  The other is online harassment and stalking that ventures offline too.

Cyberangels
    Who are likely victims?  Cyberstalkers usually target inexperienced users and those who display unfamiliarity with the rules of netiquette.  The main victims of cyberstalking are typically women and children.

    How can I protect myself?  To avoid cyberstalkers you can learn netiquette, choose a genderless name, refrain from flirting online or responding to flames, and do not reveal any personal information.
Protection
    What are the beginning signs of cyberstalking? Cyberstalking may begin with sexual harassment or out-of-control arguments.
Detection
    What do I do if I am being cyberstalked?  If you are being cyberstalked you should get out of hostile situations quickly, save offending messages, and contact authorities to start a paper trail on your stalker.
