This website is helpful in many different ways, but the main focus is the discussion groups.  With this website, you can participate in discussion forums on different topics related to accounting.  Accounting.com also allows you to look for jobs and get daily news.  It is also useful to companies to post job openings and for CPA firms to register online for business.  This site also has links for professional development and resources.  To use any of these links, all you need to do is just point and click.

When you click onto the discussion group link, you will be taken to a page that lists different forums used for discussion.  There are four different forums: System Announcements, College Level Q&A, High School Level Q&A, and a Professional’s Forum.  You will use one of these forums, depending on which category you fall into.  After you enter the forum you will see a list of messages that have been posted by other people.  You can post a message of your own or reply to someone else’s message.
