Anthropology 100T: Cultural Anthropology
Dr. MaryCarol Hopkins
Fall 1999
Dates in ALL CAPS refer to class sessions, which are on Thursdays at 6:15, and are noted
either required or optional. The other dates refer to the televised programs, which are on KET
(channel 54) on Saturdays from 1:00 until 2:00, beginning September 4. Note that there are 2
half-hour programs each week, so you need to watch for the full hour. The programs will also be
broadcast on KET and NKU cable at other times. For reading assignments, you will need to follow
the Study Guide week by week for the assignments. Note that the assignments in Haviland are NOT
keyed chapter by chapter to the telecourse, so you'll have to check for the appropriate Haviland
assignment in the Study Guide. Notice also that there are generally two programs and two chapters
in the Study Guide per week.
