As John Lennon once sang, it's been a long and lonely winter. The snow pretty much remained on the Northern Kentucky soil from december until today, for the most part.
The K-mart on 27 in Cold Spring is going out f business. I was able to get some seeds for the garden. I hope this covers much of our needs (though i still want to buy some more tomato varities)
The seeds are, in no particular order:
Bibb Blend, Butterhead lettuce
Yellow Pear Tomato (heirloom)
Principe Borghese Tomato (heirloom) -- for sun-drying!
melody hybid spinach
sugar baby watermelon - bush ype
Looseleaf blend, Looseleaf lettuce
Collard Greens, Georgia (heirloom)
Lupine, Russell Hybrid
Black-eyed Susan
Kentucky Wonder Pole Beans
Cucumber, bush type 'bush champion'
Basil, sweet
crimson giant radish

The total for those seeds was $13. Some we will wait to plant until fall and others we will plant soon.
Ok, I'm on my way to california.
