i stopped by today, the first time in awhile. working 40 hours per week and also going to school 9 credit hours gives me little time to garden.
i was pleased to see how tall the mustard greens had gotten. i thinned them out. i was also suprised to see what lousy germination we got on the collard greens. i thinned out the lettuce too. i noticed alot of the onion is regrowing. i didn't expect that at all.
the butterfly garden is full of fall color. tiny white daisies havetaken over as well as some goldenrod.
there is alot of suprising new dark green growth on the tomatoes, but nothing ripening. i cut out alot of the dead and diseased vine, and pruned the plants to the leaves closest to setting fruit. hopefully we'll get a few more before seasons end.
i wish i had more time.
