this is jim, blogging from home. i actually wrote the last entry. after writing the entry, aaron and i discussed teaching the class once again.
i also need to be given "administrator rights" by aaron, so i can use the ftp & publish this stuff.

Today, Jim and Aaron spread some compost in a crescent shape inside the butterfly garden. this will be the future home of some black-eyed susan (a native flower to KY) and some coreopsis.
We altered our map of the future new and improved butterfly garden slightly (switching the positions of black eyed susans and coneflower)
We discussed our future bulb project for fall. there's many clumps of bulbs to be broken up in september!
Also, we watered the large herb patch & butterfly garden for 30 minutes.
We decided Friday would become Irrigation Day of the week, and each patch needs to get the equivalent of 1" of h20 weekly. We need to be checking precipitation records, and we ought to have our own rain gauge.
