Military History Lecture Series
The Military Lecture Series established in 1992 by former NKU history professor Dr. Michael Adams continues to be one of the most popular extra-curricular programs of its kind.
Scholars, authors and other speakers have covered a wide range of topics about wars and conflicts in free lectures attended by NKU students, faculty and staff as well as by people in the local community.
The lectures have fulfilled Dr. Adams' premise for establishing the series:
"War is one of the most ubiquitous, intrusive and costly of human activities, a feature of our daily lives that the university, as an agent of lifelong learning, has an obligation to help people understand."
