Military History Lecture Series

The Military Lecture Series established in 1992 by former NKU history professor Dr. Michael Adams continues to be one of the most popular extra-curricular programs of its kind on campus.

Scholars, authors and other speakers have presented more than 90 topics about wars and conflicts in free lectures attended by NKU students, faculty and staff as well as by people in the local community.

The lectures have fulfilled Dr. Adams'  premise for establishing the series:

"War is one of the most ubiquitous, intrusive and costly of human activities, a feature of our daily lives that the university, as an agent of lifelong learning, has an obligation to help people understand."

The next presentation in the Military History Lecture Series is still in the planning stage. The topic, date and location will be announced on this web page.
