If you would like students in our Public History program to help with a research project, exhibit or presentation, please use our Public History Intern Request Form to submit the information we need to assist you.
Internship Opportunites
Public History Internships is a 500-level course that gives students an effective way to apply the knowledge they acquired in classes and to explore what public history profession suits them best.
Internships can be taken in the fall, spring or summer. The student must complete 150 work hours, keep a weekly journal and complete a final project or report.
The public history coordinator will have new internships posted outside Room 407 in Landrum Academic Center. A student interested in a specific institution or organization should discuss it with the program coordinator.
