Bachelor of Arts in History
To attain a Bachelor of Arts degree in history, students must complete 39 semester hours of course work in the subject with a grade of C or above in each class.
A student's grade-point average for all courses counted toward the major must be 2.5 or above to be considered for graduation.
History majors are also required to submit a senior portfolio of written work completed in history courses at NKU. The portfolio will be submitted in the final semester before graduation.

Survey course sequences (12 hours)

NOTE: Students who successfully complete HIS 194 Honors Seminar need to complete only two additional survey courses. But they must take an additional upper-division course to complete the requisite 39 semester hours for the major.
