Until 2008, the History & Geography Department published an annual Newsletter with information on current and former students, faculty members and programs.

As of January 2011, the Newsletter has been revitalized under the authority of Phi Alpha Theta, the History Honor Society. The next annual Newsletter will be available Fall 2011. The new Newsletter will feature:

- Congratulations to tenured faculty
- Brief on: minors, clubs, historical fields with their respective faculty advisors
- Upcoming events
- ΦAΘ applications (national qualifications and our expectations)
- Call for "Perspectives in History" article submissions
